St. Louis IX

St. Louis IX believed in and fought for Christendom.   Traditional Catholic Priest points out the errors of the separation of Church and State in "St. King Louis IX and Traditional Catholic Christendom."

This TIA piece, "Every Guild Had Its Patron Saint" features some charming stories about how saints were chosen to represent certain guilds, such as St. Anne being chosen to represent the carpenters because she was the first to make a tabernacle: the blessed Virgin Mary  Then there are others, like St. Bartholomew representing the tanners--not so charming but still edifying.
