Along with the end of the liturgical year and increasingly blustery weather, November brings its rich indulgences for the Poor Souls in Purgatory. From noon on the 1st of November through the 2nd, a plenary indulgence is available for them every time one enters the church and prays the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be six times (under the usual conditions). A plenary indulgence is also available for the Faithful Departed once each day from the 2nd through the 9th when one visits a cemetery to pray for them. As the Church Militant, let us “muster the troops” and do all we can for our most needful brothers and sisters!
