As we enter the last quarter of the liturgical year, September brings with it a special focus on the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary. From the prophecy of Simeon through the placing of Our Lord’s Body in the tomb, let us spend some time comforting Our Lady and offer her our gratitude for all she endured out of love for God (and us!).
Host Alexander Arthur returns with Father Philip Eldracher, pastor of Mary Help of Christians Chapel in Melbourne, Australia, for September’s This is Catholicism. As in past seasons, A Complete Catechism of the Catholic Religion by Father Joseph Deharbe, S.J. is used as the reference for this series. Alexander and Father Eldracher will resume the series where they left off last season, beginning with the Second Commandment of God. A total of eight episodes will be released throughout the month, concluding with the Fifth Commandment of God.
