On this episode of From the Pulpit, we continue our Holy Week series by welcoming back His Excellency, Bishop Donald Sanborn, rector of Most Holy Trinity Seminary in Brooksville, Florida to deliver the first of three Easter Triduum sermons.
On this episode, His Excellency will focus on Holy Thursday in the Church's Liturgical Year. Listen closely as The Last Supper is recounted and what exactly it meant when Our Lord instituted the Most Holy Sacrament of His Body and Blood in the Holy Eucharist and made the first priests, giving them the power to do the same.
His Excellency will also focus on the absurdity of the Protestant objections to the Holy Eucharist, and will set the stage for Good Friday, when Our Lord moves into the agony of His Passion.
