Apologetics, Episode 7: Jesus Christ: Prophet, Messias and True God (Part 3)

Bishop Donald Sanborn

Bishop Donald Sanborn

The Apologetics Series takes members through a comprehensive study on Catholic Apologetics from the book The Defense of the Catholic Church, by Francis X Doyle S.J.

In this final episode of the mini-series on Our Lord, Bishop Donald Sanborn explores how Jesus of Nazareth could not have deceived men in regard to His claims, nor could He have been deceived with regard to His mission. Finally, with host Phil Stone, they cover lesson 22, which is a summary of the fundamental doctrines of Christ.

The show get a little relaxed towards the end as Bishop Sanborn and Phil divert into other subjects, such as 33, 45 and 78 records, stereos, new ways to cover the Gospels in sermons and even discuss the challenges of being a Traditional Catholic in the Canary Islands.

It is suggested that you follow along the show with a copy of a Douay Rheims Bible as these shows have many references to the Gospels.

Reprints of the The Defense of the Catholic Church, now available in the TR Press Store (strongly recommended by Bishop Sanborn to purchase a copy)
