From the Pulpit, Episode 44: Communion of Saints and Candlemas

Bishop Daniel Dolan Pastor of St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church

Bishop Daniel Dolan
Pastor of St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church

Bishop Daniel Dolan discusses that single line from our Creed, the Communion of Saints. The meaning of the communion of saints is being united in one body of the Holy Church, with that Our Lord joins His body to yours.

Following, Bishop Dolan describes the Feast of the Purification of Our Lady, otherwise known as Candlemas. This is the last feast of Christmas, our Lord was being presented in the temple, where old Simeon and the rest of the world saw the ‘Lux Mundi’, the Light of the World, for the first time.
