The Liturgical Year, Episode 14: Active Participation

In today's episode, Bishop Dolan and Justin talk about the true way for us to participate in the Liturgy, and what it can teach us by doing so. Altar boys learn discipline, attention to detail, and composure; while girls can train their voices to sing in the choir, or help with countless other duties relating to the ceremonies of the Church.

The "Corridor of Saints" at St. Gertrude the Great

For additional reading on the Liturgy, Bishop Dolan recommends the excellent series by Dom Prosper Guéranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year in 15 volumes.

A special note of thanks to Nicholas Wilton for allowing us the use his music for this series. You can find out more about Mr. Wilton and his beautiful compositions here.
